Know your space before you move in.
Staply works alongside Finder as a visual way to browse, search, and organize your files. Finder remains available for system tasks. The current build doesn’t include tabs, column view, or the full Finder copy-and-move workflow.
The current build targets Apple silicon Macs running macOS 14 Sonoma or later. Intel support is not verified. Broader device testing and Apple notarization are still part of release preparation.
File processing runs locally. You choose the folders Staply can index. If a folder is synced by iCloud, Dropbox, or another provider, that provider still controls its synchronization. Paid-license activation will contact the licensing service.
Staply finds identical files by their contents and presents cleanup candidates for review. Files you choose to remove go to the Trash. Nothing on this website reads or changes your files; the cleanup demo uses sample numbers.
No. Staply is a one-time payment of ₹999 + GST with every feature and free updates included. Taxes are calculated at checkout. Checkout isn’t live yet. Final purchase and refund terms will be available before payment opens.
Yes. Each license key works on up to two Macs. Choose “Deactivate this Mac” in Staply’s license settings to free a slot, then activate the same key on your new Mac.
Staply includes local image and PDF text extraction. Background text indexing is optional and off by default. OCR validation is still in progress. Search uses a local rule-based parser, rather than an unrestricted AI assistant.
Browsing and local file tools work on files available on your Mac. The planned license system needs internet for activation. Free updates are included in the launch offer; automatic in-app delivery is not yet implemented.
In Staply, choose “Add your first folder” and select a location. You can also explore sample files first, then choose “Exit preview” or “Add location” to use your own library. After you buy, the download link arrives by email together with your license key.
